I Vasari Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC 2011 Magnum

Produced in only 5000 bottles, the 2008 vintage, shows a beautiful dense ruby, intense and brilliant with violet hues. Hints of blackberries, cassis, cherry and light scent of roasted coffee. Wet spice and dark tobacco chase each other in a final of licorice root. On the palate the tannins is complex but measured, with sweet and enveloping tannins. Expressive and intense Montepulciano. It closes with "chocolaty" taste, sandalwood and mild "hints" of herbs and licorice.
