Nero dei due Mori Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC 2008

Bright ruby red with elegant violet hues. The smell is wide and intense, hints of black cherry, blackberry, rose flower and marasca cherry. The taste is rich, intense and warm with a velvet tannin. Balanced and persistent, very harmonious.

    • Food matching: Abrruzzo is known for rich, robust red wines that are ideal for roasts and grilled meats of all kinds. Montepulciano d’Abruzzo is a hearty wine, packed with flavor and good acidity, but relatively low in tannins. It matches well with a variety of spices and herbs and complements salty foods, but it doesn’t necessarily require protein-rich dishes to tame its moderate tannins. Montepulcianos are most often paired with lamb, but sausages, savory vegetable dishes and strong cheeses are also good matches.
    • Serving temperature: 18-20 c°
    • Wine Aromas:   Cherry, Blackcurrant, Lychee, Raspberry, Cocoa, Vanilla, Cherry blossoms, White pepper
