Reilla Montepulciano d' Abruzzo DOCG 2008

The legend of a Longobardic knight faithful to King Cuniperto, when he went from the land of Abruzzo to the monastic city of Saint Vincent to the abbot Epifanio, he felt down from his hors on the valley of ager-Adrianus. Injured he remained for a few days hidden in a gorge, caring himself with the muds and the water from a rivulet of the sources of badlands on Atria. Recovered the warrior considered those muds and water thaumaturgical and named this rivulet “Res Illa” from latin, that means “this thigs” this things that cured him. The legend came to us passed between centuries and the rivulet is still called Reilla. There our vineyards from dawn to dawn listen the harmonious flow of the water and mature the Montepulciano of Reilla.
